This week I’ve found two things in relative abundance while hiking: fungi and butterflies. The heavy rain we received has revitalized everything, and I saw some wonderful butterflies. These are the individuals that permitted me a shot. For every butterfly that poses there must be dozens that just tease and fly away. It’s a fun and harmless hunt I truly enjoy.
